The Washington University Family Learning Center serves the children of parents and legal guardians who are current Washington University in St. Louis faculty, academic and non-academic staff, full-time graduate and professional students, and the children of the benefits-eligible employees of the university’s basic services contractors.
Changes in Status
A thirty-day notice is required for termination of affiliation with the center. Should a family’s affiliation with WUSTL be terminated, the center director will work with parents to find an appropriate transition time.
Back-Up Care Advantage Program
In partnership with Bright Horizons Family solutions, Washington University offers the Back-up Care Advantage Program to provide back-up care for eligible individuals when they need to be at work and their regular childcare is unavailable. Back-up care is provided based on daily space availability — for infants, toddlers and pre-school aged children. Reservations are required.
For more details about using the Back-Up Care Advantage Program benefit, visit the Human Resources website Family Care Hub.
